The explosion happened on the evening of Friday at the Nowgam police station, where detonation agents confiscated in the Faridabad area in the northern territory of Haryana state were being stored temporarily.
Regional security director announced that the detonation substances were scheduled for technical investigation when a "very unfortunate" incident during management caused their explosion at approximately 23:20 local time.
